Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge the Bunurong (Boon Wurrung) peoples of the Kulin Nation as the original inhabitants and caretakers of the land on which we live, work and pray. We pay our respects to their elders past, present and emerging.

Just as the Bunurong people hold the Eaglehawk and Crow totem as a symbol of their creation story, the mezuzah, on the door of our Synagogue, represents our own unique story and values.
