Tree of Life

The Etz Chayim, or Tree of Life, is a profound symbol in Jewish tradition that represents wisdom, protection, strength, bounty, beauty, and redemption.

The tree is a symbol of our Creator who sustains creation with its abundant fruit, protection and regeneration.

The tree also represents humanity as we too develop roots, strengthen our trunk and branch out to a wider vision of life as we grow.

Just like this tree, we hope that our community will provide shelter to those in need. We pray that as it reaches skyward, it grows tall and strong but maintains deep roots to people, history and heritage.

Surrounded by fresh blossoms signifying new hope and opportunity, our tree also bears ripe pomegranates, laden with the lesson of the past, ready to pick, and enjoyed by a new generation.
